Tony Robbins

 Robbins was born Anthony J. Mahavoric on February 29, 1960, in North Hollywood, California. Robbins is the oldest of three children, and his parents divorced when he turned seven. Robbins is of Croatian origin from both sides of his family. His mother later remarried numerous times, including one marriage with Jim Robbins, a former semi-professional baseball player who legally adopted Anthony when he was twelve years old. [Robbins attended Glendora High School. While in the high school years, Robbins grew ten inches in a year, which was later linked to a pituitary tumor. Robbins has said that his family life was chaotic and abusive. He moved out of his home at the age of 17 age and has never returned. Robbins then worked as a janitor. He did not attend college. One day he asked the landlord on site, who was a close family friend, about how he became so successful. The landlord explained that he began to change his life around following attending a Jim Rohn seminar.
