Scott Campbell

 Campbell was in his 20s when he in his 20s, relocated to San Francisco where he began work as a copy editor at City Lights Bookstore for Lawrence Ferlinghetti. Campbell began tattooing at this moment. He went on a trip to Asia and Europe and tattooed in exchange for cash. He later moving to Williamsburg in 2001.When Scott moved to New York in 2005 he established his own tattoo shop, known as Saved Tattoo. Scott earned fame and fortune from this shop. Scott's first client from the world of celebrity was Heath Ledger. He commissioned the creation of a tiny bird to fly over the left side of his forearm. He exhibits regularly internationally and his first show sold out at OHWOW the gallery situated in Miami, Florida (April 2009). Campbell had a solo show in the gallery's New York location in April 2010. His solo show "Bless This Mess" took place at the gallery's Zurich gallery in January 2012.Louis Vuitton Creative Director Marc Jacobs collaborated with Scott Campbell and Scott Campbell, in which Scott made a few luxurious leather bags to be used in men's clothing to be used in the S/S 2011 collection.In November 2015, Campbell debuted 'Whole Glory" at Milk Studios located in New York City. Through the hole in the wall Campbell tattooed 23 people. Participants did not speak at all with the artist prior to being tattooed and Campbell tattooed a design that he wanted to tattoo. The exhibition Whole Glory was also presented in Los Angeles, in Downtown LA, Moscow at the Garage Museum of Contemporary Art and lastly at Covent Garden in London, hosted by Lazarides Gallery. London's "Whole Glamour" also featured a series of tattooed skins made from pig skins. They were then paired with Campbell's designs and enclosed in stainless steel frames that were coated with liquid preservative.
