Kyrie Irving

 Kyrie Andrew Irving (/'kaIri/; Lakota: Hela, lit. American professional basketball player "Little Mountain" (born March 23rd, 1992) is the player of the Brooklyn Nets of National Basketball Association (NBA). He was named the Rookie of the Year in the year after being selected by the Cleveland Cavaliers with the first overall pick in the 2011 NBA draft. He was seven-time All-Star and a three-time All-NBA Team member and a member of the All-Star team. In 2016, he won a NBA championship for the Cleveland Cavaliers. He won the Most Valuable Player (MVP) award at during the 2014 All-Star Game. Irving scored the game-winning field goal during the 2016 NBA Finals to complete the Cavaliers' historic victory against the Golden State Warriors. Irving was traded to the Boston Celtics after he made another Finals appearance in 2017. After playing as an Celtic for two years Irving signed as a free agent for the Brooklyn Nets in 2019. He also was a part of the United States National Team, winning gold at the 2014 FIBA Basketball World Cup as in the 2016 Summer Olympics. He was elected vice president of the National Basketball Players Association in February 2020, replacing Pau Gasol.
