Megan Thee Stallion

 Megan Jovon Ruth Pete (born February 15, 1995) popularly referred to as Megan Thee Stallion (pronounced "Megan the Stallion") is an American rapper. She is originally from Houston, Texas. Her freestyle videos have become very popular on social media platforms such as Instagram. Megan Thee Stallion was signed to 300 Entertainment in 2018. The mixtape was released in 1999. Fever (1999) as well as the extended-play Suga (2020) and both climbed to the top 10 on the Billboard 200. Her debut studio album Good News (2020), received a rousing critical response. With the remix of "Savage", which she featured with Beyonce, and her performance on Cardi B's "WAP" single which was her first and second top singles on the US Billboard Hot 100. This was also her first number 1 in other countries as well as the Billboard Global 200 charts. Doja Cat also appeared on Doja Cat's remix to Ariana Grande's hit single "34+35" in 2021. This song reached number 2 on the Billboard Hot 100. Her next album was her first compilation album Something for Thee Hotties (2021), which climbed to the top ten of the Billboard 200, and spawned the hit single "Thot Shit", which reached the top twenty in the US and was awarded a Grammy Award for Best Rap Performance nomination.In July of 2020, Megan Thee Stallion was victimized in a shooting perpetrated by rapper Tory Lanez in Hollywood Hills, California. The incident was an important component of her debut album Good News. In December 2022, Lanez was tried and convicted on all counts regarding the attack on her.
