Julius Randle

 Randle was selected as the seventh overall selection in the 2014 NBA draft by the Los Angeles Lakers. After just 14 minutes NBA practice time, Randle suffered a broken right tibia during the Lakers opening game of the 2014-15 season against Houston Rockets. He underwent successful surgery on the same day to fix the fracture and was then out for the rest of the season. On March 9 in 2015, he received cleared to participate in full weight-bearing, non-contact basketball activities.Randle returned to action in July 2015 as part of the Lakers' Summer League team.Exactly one year after sustaining a self-injury in his NBA debut, Randle had 15 points and 11 rebounds in a 112-111 season-opening loss against the Minnesota Timberwolves On December 2 the 2nd, he scored 15 points as well as a career-high 19 rebounds in an 108-104 win against the Washington Wizards. He scored 23 points against the Los Angeles Clippers on January 29th of 2016. On March 8, he tied that record with 23 points and 11 boards in a win over the Orlando Magic, 107-98. [20] His first ever career triple-double came on the 25th of March, with 13 points and 18 rebounds along with a record-setting 10 assists in a 116-105 loss against the Denver Nuggets. At the age of 21, was the youngest Lakers player to record the triple-double record since Magic Johnson.Six days after, he smashed an important hook shot in the court at 1.9 seconds remaining in overtime that lifted the Lakers to a 102-100 victory over the Miami Heat. [22] He broke a record for his career by grabbing 20 rebounds during an Clippers defeat of 91-81 on the 6th of April.
