Courtney Thorne-Smith

 She appeared on a few mid-1980s television series such as Growing Pains and the short-lived Fast Times, as well as made-for-television films like The Thanksgiving Promise and Infidelity before landing a regular role in the sitcom that lasted only a few episodes Day by Day with Douglas Sheehan, Linda Kelsey and Julia Louis-Dreyfus. From 1992 to 1997 her first TV role on the big screen was in the role of Alison Parker in Melrose Place. In 1995, she was the star of Beauty's Revenge, a movie produced for TV. It was also released on CD and DVD in the form of "Midwest Obsession". Between 1997 and 2000, she played Georgia Thomas on Ally McBeal. Thorne Smith first auditioned for the role that played the title in the show. The role was later assigned to Calista Lockhart. Her character was written out of Ally McBeal at the beginning of season four in the year 2000 although she made occasional guest appearances afterward. She later said that she left the show because of pressure to be thin. US Weekly reported that she had started to overeat and exercise excessively and harmed her immune system. "The quantity of time I thought about food and feeling angry about my body was insane. She was a part of the show in According to Jim's Cheryl role from 2001 to 2009. The pregnancy she had in real life was initially hidden, but it was later added to the story. On February 18 the 18th of February, 2010, she was cast as Alan Harper (Jon Cryer)'s girlfriend, Lyndsey McElroy, in season seven of Two and A Half Men.She appeared in 52 episodes during season seven to twelve.
