Rocero was 21 years old when she was discovered by a fashion photographer at the Lower East Side restaurant. She was then signed to NEXT Model Management and spent 12 years modelling for international swimsuit and beauty editorials, earning herself a massive following base.She has been modeling for 12 years. The first transgender female to be recognized as the Iconic 2020 Playboy Playmates for the Year. Rocero Playboy's Playboy article was nominated for a GLAAD award in media for an an outstanding magazine articles. In 2014, Rocero was featured on the cover of the fifth anniversary of CNDY featuring 13 transgender women including Janet Mock and Carmen Carrera. In 2015, Rocero became Executive Producer of "Beautiful As I'd Like To be" A digital series for Logo specifically focusing on transgender young people. The show focuses on trans young people and pairs them with a coach or mentor in the transgender community. Zeam the transgender man and artist, is paired with Caitlyn Jenner in the show's first episode. Jenner in the episode mentions Rocero as "the first transperson I've met".Rocero is also featured on Jenner's show I Am
