Anthony Rizzo

 Anthony Vincent Rizzo (born August 8, 1989) is an American professional baseball first baseman for the New York Yankees of Major League Baseball (MLB). He has previously played in MLB for the San Diego Padres and Chicago Cubs. He is a three-time All-Star. He has been a three-time All-Star. He was transferred to the San Diego Padres after the 2010 season, along with three other prospects in exchange for the All-Star first baseman Adrian Gonzalez. In 2011 the year he made his MLB debut in San Diego. After being traded to the Cubs in 2012, he became an All-Star player. He played in the All-Star Game three consecutive times between 2014 and 2016. Rizzo also won the Silver Slugger Award and the Gold Glove Award. He also won the Roberto Clemente Award. Rizzo also claimed a World Series title in 2016 with the Cubs. He was traded to the Yankees by the Cubs in the 2021 season. He signed a two year contract with the Yankees, along with an option to join the club for the third year.
