Shailene Woodley

 Shailene Diann was born November 15 1991, is an American actress. Born in San Bernardino, California, Woodley was raised in Simi Valley. She started modeling when she was four . She then began acting professionally in television in minor roles. Woodley first became famous in the role of Amy Juergens in the ABC Family drama series The Secret Life of the American Teenager (2008-2013). Her film debut in The Descendants (2011), getting the Cannes Trophee Chopard and receiving nominations for the Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actress for a Motion Picture and for three Critics' Choice Film Awards. She was later cast in the coming-of-age movie The Spectacular Now (2013), for which she was awarded an award from the jury at the Sundance Film Festival.Woodley achieved wider recognition for her role in the lead role of an teen cancer patient in the romantic drama The Fault in Our Stars (2014) and also as Beatrice Prior in the science-fiction trilogy The Divergent Series (2014-2016) and earned her a nomination for the BAFTA Rising Star Award. She was a sexual assault survivor in the HBO drama series Big Little Lies (2017-2019) and was nominated for the Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actress in a Series, Miniseries or Television Film and Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in an Original or Anthology Series or Movie. She was a part of the critically well-reviewed drama films The Mauritanian (2021) and The Fallout (2021).Woodley is also an environmentalist and serves as a board member of the political action group, Our Revolution.
