Paul McCartney

Sir James Paul McCartney CH, MBE was born 18 June 1942. He is a famous English musician, singer-songwriter and songwriter. One of the most popular musicians and composers of all time, McCartney is known for his melodic approach to bass-playing as well as his tenor's versatility and broad vocal range, and musical diversity, encompassing styles ranging from pre-rock and roll pop, to classical and electronica. The songwriting partnership he formed with Lennon is still the most popular in history.Born in Liverpool, McCartney taught himself guitar, piano, and songwriting in his teens after being influenced by his father, an accomplished jazz musician, and rock and roll performers such as Little Richard and Buddy Holly. McCartney's career began in the Quarrymen's skiffle group in 1957. The group morphed to become the Beatles in 1960. McCartney was often referred to as "the cute Beatle", later became associated with the London avantgarde, and was the one to introduce an experimental aesthetic into Beatles studio recordings. Beginning with the 1967 album Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, eventually he became the band's principal leader, providing the creative impetus for the majority of their songs as well as film productions. The band's Beatles songs include "And I Love her" and "Yesterday" and "Eleanor Rigby, and "Blackbird" that are among the most popular songs ever. While predominantly a bassist for the Beatles, in various songs there were other instruments, such as guitars, keyboards, and drums.
