 Amber Laura Heard, born April 22, 1986 in America She is an American actress from America. Her first lead role in the horror film All the Boys Love Mandy Lane (2006), and continued to appear in films such as The Ward (2010) and Drive Angry (2011). She has also appeared in as a supporting character in films such as Pineapple Express (2008), Never Back Down (2008), The Joneses (2009), Machete Kills (2013), Magic Mike XXL (2015), as well as The Danish Girl (2015). Heard plays Mera in Justice League (2018), Aquaman (2018) and the upcoming Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom (2023). She has also appeared on television shows such as Hidden Palms (2007) and The Stand (2020).Heard is an American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) spokesperson on women's rights and an ACLU Human Rights Champion for the Stand Up for Human Rights campaign of the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights.Heard married actor Johnny Depp in 2015. The marriage ended in May 2016. Heard filed a restraining or lawsuit against Depp. She claimed domestic violence. Depp would then file a defamation suit against The Sun, a British tabloid newspaper, for reporting on Heard's allegations of domestic abuse. Another lawsuit was filed against Heard against her for publishing an opinion piece in her name in the Washington Post. Depp won the lawsuit. 5 Heard filed an additional countersuit. The second case, in which Heard requested a restraining orders against Depp and was subject to a highly-publicized trial. Heard's allegations and one against Depp for publishing an op-ed published under her name in the Washington Post, were widely criticized.
