Lil Wayne

 Dwayne Michael Jr. was born on 27 September, 1982, [2] is an American rapper and singer. His career started in 1995 at the age of 12, when he signed with rapper Birdman who then joined Cash Money Records as the youngest artist on the label. [3] From then on, Wayne was the flagship artist for Cash Money Records before ending his contract with the company in June of this year. He is regarded as one of the most influential hip hop artists of the current generation by XXL. He has often been cited as being one of the best rappers ever of our time.In 1995, Wayne was put in a duo with label-mate B.G. (at the time, referred to as Lil Doogie) and they recorded an album, True Story, released that year, even though Wayne (at the time known as Baby D) only appeared on three tracks. [8] Wayne as well as B.G. Soon after, Wayne and B.G. joined the South Hip-Hop group Hot Boys with Cash Money label-mates Juvenile & Turk in 1997. They launched their first album, entitled Get it How You Live! in October that year. In October, the Hot Boys became popular following the release of their album Guerrilla Warfare (1999) and the hit song "Bling Bling". Lil Wayne's solo album Tha Block is Hot (1999) was his breakout album. The album also featured the albums of his fourth and fifth Tha Carter (2004), Tha Carter II (2006) (2004), Tha Carter II (2006) and Tha Carter II (2006) along with mixtapes, collaborations, and more, in 2006 and 2007. The album he released in 2006 Tha Carter III (2008) saw him rise to prominence in the world of music. It sold more than one million copies the first week. The Grammy Award for Best Rap Album was awarded to the album. It featured the hit singles "A Milli" and T-Pain's "Got Money" and "Lollipop" featuring Static Major. This was his first to reach top spot on the Billboard Hot 100.
