Jon Cryer

 Jonathan Niven Cryer (born April 16th, 1965)[1] is an American actor as well as a writer, director, and producer. He was born into a showbiz household and made his film debut in 1984 as a teenager photographer for No Small Affair. His debut performance in Pretty in Pink, written by John Hughes, came in 1986. He wrote and produced the film, which he filmed at Coney Island in a Mission From God... Be Returned by Five in 1998. His breakthrough role came in 1986's John Hughes-written film Pretty In Pink. The other films that were starring him, such as The Famous Teddy Z, Partners and The Trouble with Normal, were longer than 22 minutes. In 2003, he was cast in a co-leading role as Alan Harper on the CBS sitcom Two and a Half Men which was a huge success with 12 seasons. For the show, he was awarded two Primetime Emmy Awards (in 2009 and 2012). In 2011, he received the Walk of Fame for television. Other films starring Ryan include Superman IV: The Quest for Peace (1987), Hiding Out (87), and Hot Shots! (1991), Holy Man (2000), Tortured (2008) and Shorts (2009). He was also part of Hit by Lightning (2014). The CW show Supergirl and Arrow, he has also played the role of Lex Luthor. After appearing on the podcast Crime Writers On... it was announced that he would join the Undisclosed podcast for their second season.
