Ariel Winter

Winter's sister Shanelle Workman was a candidate to be her guardian in the month of October in 2012. She claimed that their mother was emotionally and physically abusive. [9] On May 5 in 2014, the court awarded guardianship to Workman and permanently removed Winter from the guardianship of her mother. Their mother then released a statement that stated that "the family has moved past the dispute". 10 May, 2015, when she was 17 years old, Winter declared on Twitter that she had officially been emancipated. In June 2015, Winter underwent breast reduction surgery. [13][14"13"[14] Winter was vocal about the awkwardness she had at the age of twelve, as well as the reality that her back was so painful it was difficult to sit up straight. She described the physical and mental improvements that the surgery made to her, telling Glamour magazine that it was "amazing" to finally feel right. This is what I was meant to be. "[14In January 2016 Screen Actors Guild Awards, Winter gained media attention for wearing an Romona Kaveza gown[17] which showed her scars from surgery. After looking at the pictures, she was stunned to find that "every headline be a about my cleavage -- not my talents." Winter tweeted afterward: "Guys, there's a reason I didn't put in an effort to cover my wounds!" They're part of me and I'm not ashamed at all."
