Jaime Pressly

After appearing in Baywatch 1995 without credit, Pressly played in Mercenary 1996 as Violet as a vicious and sexy seductress in Poison Ivy: The New Seduction 1997 The third film in the Poison Ivy series. After a minor role in the cult teen classic Can't Hardly Wait, television appearances followed, as well as guest roles in the short-lived Push and Mortal Kombat: Conquest. She went on to play one of the lead characters in Jack & Jill, which aired for two seasons, from September 26, 1999 to April 15, 2001, on The WB. Pressly was the main character in the film of her own creation Poor White Trash (2000), playing scheming gold-digger Sandy Lake, and appeared in three theatrical releases from 2001 that were targeted towards a young audience and, despite different degrees of success, allowed her to receive more exposure. The parody film Not Another Teen Movie, most notably, featured her as Priscilla, a high school cheerleader opposite Chris Evans, while she played the role of a young wife in the comedy sex Tomcats as well as the role of a Southern love lover in the comedy Joe Dirt with David Spade. In 2002, Pressly starred as a college student who is trapped on a haunted island in the independent horror film Demon Island. Cinema Crazed's Felix Vasquez described it as an enjoyable guilty pleasure, and added that she is at the best she can with her character and is a charming character. Seven years later, she was a crazed, motorcycle-riding criminal in the action thriller Torque (2004) along with Ice Cube. In a profile, The New Yorker, describing this phase of her career, asserted: "She is typically cast due to her looks and her Southern elegance, and she has had role as a girlfriend in a number of forgettable teensploitation flicks"
