Adam Noah Levine, /l@’vi:n/, was born March 18, 1979. He is an American musician and singer. Levine is the lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist of the rock group Maroon 5. Levine began his musical career in 1994 with the group Kara's Flowers, of which Levine was the singer and guitarist. Following the album's commercial loss Levine was replaced as guitar player by James Valentine. In 2002 they released their debut album, Songs About Jane, which was certified multi-platinum in the US and since that time, they've released six albums: It Won't be Soon before Long (2007), Hands All Over (2010) Overexposed (2012) (pronounced: "five"), V (pronounced: "five") (2014), Red Pill Blues (2017), and Jordi (2021). In the band Maroon 5, Levine has been awarded numerous awards, including three Grammy Awards.From 2011 to 2019, Levine was a coach on the reality talent show of NBC, The Voice. The team was the one responsible for the winners of seasons 1 to five. and 9. Levine was the first actor to play the role of Leo Morrison on the second season's American Horror Story in 2012. He was also in the films Begin Again (2013), Popstar The Clapper: Never Stop Never Stopping (2016), Fun Mom Dinner and The Clapper (both 2017). Levine created his eponymous scent line in 2013. In 2013, he collaborated with Kmart, ShopYourWay.com and ShopYourWay.com on his menswear line. He also owns a record labelcalled 222 Records, and a production company, 222 Productions, which produced TV shows Sugar and Songland. The Hollywood Reporter reported in 2013 that people who were familiar with his life said that he had "sources who are familiar" with the issue.
