William Patrick Spencer Gold (born 14 September 1996 ), better known as Wilbur Soot, is a British Twitch streamer, YouTuber, and musician. The first time he was noticed was in 2017 due to his involvement with the group comedy YouTube channel Soot House, where he regularly appeared and was the lead editor as well as a co-founder. In March of 2019 Gold launched his own channel called Wilbur Soot. Gold released his debut single, "The 'Nice Guy' Ballad", in January of 2018. "Your New Boyfriend" is his sixth single "Your New Boyfriend" peaked at No. 65 on the UK Singles Chart. [1165 on the UK Singles Chart. Gold is the co-founder of the British indie rock band Lovejoy, where he is one of the songwriters as well as the lead vocalist and the rhythm guitarist. In 2021 they came out with Pebble Brain, their second EP, which peaked at No. 12 on the UK Albums Chart.
