William Patrick Spencer Gold, often referred to as Wilbur Soot (born 14 September 1996) is a British Twitch streamer and YouTuber. In 2017, he became known for his contributions to the SootHouse group comedy YouTube channel, where he was a regular guest and co-founder. He then launched his own channel, Wilbur Soot, in March of 2019. In January 2018, Gold released "The Nice Guy' Ballad", his first single. His sixth single, "Your New Boyfriend" has hit the number. 65 on the UK Singles Chart. Gold is co-founder of the British indie rock group Lovejoy in which he is one of the song writers, the lead vocalist and the rhythm guitarist. Their second album, Pebble Brain, was released in 2021. The album debuted at the number. 12 on the UK Albums Chart.
