Wayne Alphonso Brady, born June 2, 1972, is an American comedian, actor as well as a singer and actor. He appears on the American version of the improvisational comedy TV show Whose Line is It Anyway? He hosted the daytime talk show The Wayne Brady Show. He also hosted Fox's first Don't Forget the Lyrics! and has also hosted Let's Make a Deal every revival since 2009. Brady was also a performer in Kinky Boots, the Tony Award-winning Broadway musical. He also played the role of Simon (who is also a drag queen Lola) on the American television series How I Met Your Mother. Brady is a five times Emmy Award winner. His first Emmy Award was for his work on Whose Line. in 2003. He also won two in the year following for The Wayne Brady Show, and two more for Let's Make A Deal. He was nominated for an Grammy Award in 2009 for Best Traditional R&B Vocal Performance in 2003, for his rendition of the Sam Cooke song "A Change is Coming".
