Greta Van Fleet, an American rock group, formed in 2012 from Frankenmuth (Michigan). It is comprised of Kiszka brothers Josh (vocals), Jake (guitar) and Sam (bass guitar, keyboards) along with Danny Wagner (drums). In March of 2017, they signed to Lava Records, and one month later released Black Smoke Rising, their first studio album. Their debut single, "Highway Tune", was a top hit on the Billboard U.S. For four weeks straight, Mainstream Rock and Active Rock topped the charts on the Billboard U.S. charts in September 2017. Their second EP, From the Fires, containing the four songs of Black Smoke Rising and four new songs, debuted on the 10th of November, 2017, alongside a second single, "Safari Song". From the Fires went on to be awarded the 2019 Grammy Award for Best Rock Album.Their debut studio album, Anthem of the Peaceful Army, was released on the 19th of October, 2018 and debuted on the Billboard Rock Album charts in the first week of the album's release. The album's opening single, "When the Curtain Falls", was released before the album in July 2018 , and went on to become the band's third number-one single on the U.S. Billboard Mainstream Rock charts. Anthem of the Peaceful Army debuts at the top of the Billboard Hard Rock charts. It was ranked at the top spot on the Billboard Top Album Sales Charts within the very first week. The second studio album, The Battle at Garden's Gate was released on April 16, 2021.
