Since most people active in the Wiki community are RecentChangesJunkies, having an aggregate change log may be all that is needed to spark more traditional hyperlinking. That brings up...Wikis have clear guidelines of what is on topic and the acceptable usage. Cross-linking can be a delicate subject - most people running websites don't want visitors to leave the site, particularly to those that are usually inferior. Does linking off a site have acceptable? SisterSites could permit you to syndicate the most recent changes to your website when it's impossible.
