Justine Bateman

 The most well-known role for Bateman began when she was just a teenager, playing the role of superficial Mallory Keaton on the television sitcom Family Ties in 1982. she played the character throughout the show's final season in 1989. She hosted an episode of Saturday Night Live during its 13th season in 1988. She was nominated for two Emmy Awards as well as a Golden Globe Award for her work on Family Ties. [citation needed]

In the 1996-97 NBC American version of the British TV comedy Men Behaving Badly which featured Rob Schneider and Ron Eldard in the role of Sarah, Eldard's character's girlfriend. Bateman returned to TV in 2003 with the Showtime mini-series Out of Order. She was with Felicity Huffman, Eric Stoltz and William H. Macy. In the episode "Family Ties" from Arrested Development, she is mistakenly believed to be Michael Bluth's sister. But it turns out that she is prostitutes who have been victimized by his father and lavishly spoiled by his brother. Michael Bluth was played by Bateman's brother Jason.Recurring roles included Men in Trees, Still Standing and Desperate Housewives.In 1988, Bateman starred in the lead part in the motion picture Satisfaction. Britta Phillips, Liam Neeson and Julia Roberts all were in the film that was about an all-girl group. Bateman was the film's main singer, and also sang on the soundtrack. Other films include The Night We Never Met which starred Matthew Broderick, and The TV Set which starred David Duchovny and Sigourney Weaver.
