Ryan Rodney Reynolds, born October 23, 1976 , in Toronto and is an American and Canadian actor. His first role was in the Canadian soap opera for teens Hillside (1991-1993), and was in minor roles prior to getting the lead role in the sitcom Two Guys and a Girl between 1998 between 1998 and 2001. Reynolds was then featured in a wide variety of films that included comedies like National Lampoon's Van Wilder (2002), Waiting... (2005) as well as The Proposal (2009). He also starred in the dramatic roles of Buried (2010), Woman in Gold (2015), and Life (2017) and featured in action films such as Blade: Trinity (2004), Green Lantern (2011), 6 Underground (2019) and Free Guy (2021), and provided voice acting in the animated films The Croods film series (2013-2020), Turbo (2013), and Pokemon: Detective Pikachu (2019).Reynolds's greatest commercial success was with the 20th Century Fox X-Men films Deadpool (2016) and Deadpool 2 (2018), in which he played the main character. He broke numerous records in R-rated comedy in the year of its release and earned nominations at Critics' Choice Film Awards, as well as the Golden Globe Awards. In 2010, He was named People's Sexiest Men Alive and received a star on Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2017. He is also the co-owner of Welsh football club Wrexham A.F.C. and has an ownership stake in Mint Mobile. The latter was covered in the TV series Welcome to Wrexham.
