Ryan Fitzpatrick

 

Ryan Joseph Fitzpatrick, born November 24, 1982 is an American former football player who played in the National Football League (NFL) for 17 years. Fitzpatrick was the first quarterback to play for nine teams throughout his career. It is the highest number in league history. Fitzpatrick is the only NFL player to have a passing or rushing touchdown in eight different teams. He was also a Harvard football coach. Fitzpatrick was the first quarterback at Harvard to exceed 1,000 yards of rushing. The St. Louis Rams selected him in the seventh round. His longest stint was with the Buffalo Bills for four seasons and his two winning seasons were with the 2015 New York Jets and the 2020 Miami Dolphins. As a member of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2018, he also became the first NFL quarterback to throw for more than 400 yards over three consecutive games.Due to his competitive, but inconsistent performance, Fitzpatrick received the nicknames "Fitzmagic" and "Fitztragic". He holds the most career passing yards and touchdowns of NFL quarterbacks without a postseason appearance
