Austin Richard Post (born July 4 1995), known professionally as Post Malone, is an American rapper, singer writer, songwriter, and record producer.Known for his variegated vocals, Malone has gained acclaim for his ability to blend genres and subgenres of hip-hop, pop, R&B, and trap. His stage name was derived by entering the name of his birth into a rapper's name generator.Malone started his music career in the year 2011 and was recognized by releasing his first single of 2015 "White Iverson" that peaked at the number 14 on the US Billboard Hot 100. Malone signed a recording contract with Republic Records and released his debut album Stoney (2016) which contained the diamond single "Congratulations" (featuring Quavo) and established the record for the all weeks on the Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. The second album, Beerbongs & Bentleys (2018) was released at the top of the US Billboard 200 and set numerous streaming records.It also included the US top-ranked singles "Rockstar" (featuring 21 Savage) and "Psycho" (featuring Ty Dolla Sign) and was nominated for Album of the Year at the 61st Grammy Awards.
