Lucy Verasamy

 After graduating, Verasamy trained and worked as a meteorologist in the Press Association's weather center (Later changed its name to Meteogroup - Europe's Largest private weather service) which included writing international and national weather forecasts for radio, television and Newspapers.Having previously had a position with the Sky Weather Centre prior to becoming a forecaster for weather, Verasamy was hired by Sky and was appointed the regular weather anchor on the Sky News morning show Sunrise. As part of Sky News' Green Britain campaign 2007, Sky News launched a feature called Climate Clinic - Ask Lucy. Verasamy was asked questions from the public regarding climate change. She joined Daybreak's newly established ITV Breakfast program Daybreak as the weather and environment correspondent. Seven February 2012, McCabe left the programme which left Verasamy as the only weather forecaster. On 2 August 2012, she quit the program.
