Jeffree Star, born Jeffrey Lynn Steininger Jr. on November 15, 1985 is an American YouTuber and makeup artist. He was also a singer-songwriter for a while. Star is the founder and owner of Jeffree Star Cosmetics. In 2009, Star released Beauty Killer the studio album which included songs such as "Lollipop Luxury" featuring Nicki Minaj. He embarked upon several international tours to showcase his music. He signed to Konvict Muzik in 2010. However, he abruptly quit the music industry in 2013, citing legal issues that the owner of the label faced between 2007 and 2010. Star was a co-founder of Jeffree Star Cosmetics in November 2014. Forbes stated that Star had made $18 million alone through YouTube, making him the fifth highest-paid YouTuber.
