Laura Tobin

 Laura Elizabeth Tobin FRMS (born 10 October, 1981) is an English broadcast meteorologist. Before becoming a part of the ITV Breakfast program Daybreak, she was employed by the BBC. Daybreak was later replaced by Good Morning Britain in early 2014. Tobin currently presents the weather bulletins for the programme.Early life and educationTobin was born and raised in Northampton. She went to Duston Upper School, gaining A-levels in Physics, Mathematics and Art. She then received an honours master's degree in Physics and Meteorology at the University of Reading. [1][2Tobin Tobin was also a participant in an World Meteorological Organization course on climate.CareerOn following graduation in 2003 she joined the Met Office. After she completed her training and assignments, Tobin was shifted to the Cardiff Weather Centre in October 2004, where she learned how broadcast on BBC Radio Wales. In 2005, Tobin moved to RAF Brize Norton and was able to provide aeronautical meteorology reports as well as briefings for Royal Air Force transport crews and media from BFBS, the British Forces Broadcasting Service. Tobin joined the team BBC Weather Centre forecasters at the end of 2007 eventually regularly appearing on the BBC News channel, BBC World News, BBC Radio 5 Live and the interactive on-demand services of BBC Red Button found on digital satellite and terrestrial television. Tobin also hosted the weather on BBC News at One. On 3 September 2012, she was appointed as the Daybreak weather presenter. Tobin was featured on BBC Radio 1's "Innuendo Bingo" on 18 July 2013. Good Morning Britain replaced Daybreak in April 2014. 6 Tobin still hosts the news on the weather. Her first show was on the 28th of April, 2014. Tobin appeared on her first show, 28 April 2014. The song was recorded in the name of Great Ormond Street Hospital and was released digitally by independent record label Saga Entertainment on 30 November 2018, under the name of The Celebs. The video premiered exclusively on The Sun on 29/11/2018 and was first broadcast on Good Morning Britain on the 30/11/2018. Aled Jones and Russell Watson interviewed Tobin about their new album. Tobin replied by singing an aria from the track, followed by "Stick it, Aled!" The track peaked at second place on the iTunes chart. Tobin sang the lyrics that opened the Christmas charity song Merry Christmas Everyone in 2020 during the COVID-19 crisis. It was released digitally by an independent label Saga Entertainment on December 11 in 2020. Tobin performed with 31 other stars who performed, including Sam Bailey, Anna Nightingale Richard Arnold, Frank Bruno and Richard Arnold.
