Wilbur Soot

 William Patrick Spencer Gold[3][a] (born 14 September 1996[8][9[9]), known professionally as Wilbur Soot, is a British Twitch streamer, YouTuber, and musician. In 2017 he became well-known for his involvement in the SootHouse group comedy YouTube channel. He was a frequent guest there and was also the co-founder and editor. He later started his own channel, Wilbur Soot, in March of 2019. In January 2018, Gold released "The Nice Guy' Ballad", his first single. The sixth track, "Your New Boyfriend" was a top-grossing hit at No. 65 on the UK Singles Chart.Gold is the co-founder of the British indie rock group Lovejoy, where he is one of the writers, the lead singer and rhythm guitarist. In 2021 they released Pebble Brain, their second EP that debuted at the number. 12 on the British Albums Chart.Online careerGold first became known in 2017 for his involvement in the group YouTube channel, SootHouse, which was created by Gold and a handful of his friends. It was primarily reaction videos, with its members discussing memes and life hacks in addition to other topics.On May 30th, 2019, the SootHouse channel reached 1 million subscribers.Gold's main channel, Wilbur Soot, was established on March 29, 2019. On 8 April 2020, this channel had 1 million subscribers. Since then, it had more than 6.34 million subscribers by September 2022.
