Kelly Reilly

Reilly sent an email to Prime Suspect producers to request the production team to consider. Helen Mirren played the lead in Prime Suspect. In the following six months, she auditioned for a role in "Prime Suspect 4: Inner Circle", which was broadcast on ITV on May 7, 1995. In the following year, she appeared in an episode of the Carlton UK television period drama series Bramwell as a troubled young woman. Six years after, Mirren starred alongside her in Last Orders. She was then given a number of parts in the English stage. She was a part of four productions that were performed by Terry Johnson: Elton John's Glasses (1997), The London Cuckolds (1998), The Graduate (2000), and Piano/Forte (2006). [7] Johnson wrote Piano/Forte for her and stated, "Kelly is possibly the most natural, dyed in-the-wool deep-in-the-bone actress I've ever worked with. "Reilly has said that she gained the most as an actor from Karel Reisz, who acted as director to her in The Yalta Game in Dublin in 2001. She said "He was my mentor. Without that play, there is no way I could have done Miss Julie. "By 2000, Reilly felt she was being typecast in comedy roles and sought the role of the young Amy in the play Last Orders, directed by Fred Schepisi. The actress was offered a part in the Royal Court's 2001 reruns, which included Sarah Kane's Blasted. The Times described her as "theatrical Viagra". [9] In 2002, Reilly starred alongside Audrey Tautou and Romain Duris as Wendy who was an English Erasmus student, in the French comedy L'Auberge espagnole (The Spanish Apartment). In 2005's sequel Les Poupees russes, Reilly reprised her role as Wendy in the comedy, L'Auberge espagnole (The Spanish Apartment). She also appeared in the 2013 sequel Casse-tete chinois (Chinese Puzzle). Also in 2005, Reilly had roles in movies like Mrs Henderson Presents and Pride & Prejudice.
