John Krasinski

 John Burke Krasinski (/kr@'zInski/; born October 20, 1979) is an American actor and film maker. He is well-known for his role in The Office as Jim Halpert. He also was an occasional director and producer of the series throughout its nine-season run.Educated in the arts of theatre at Brown University and the National Theater Institute, Krasinski is the recipient of a number of honors, including four Primetime Emmy Award nominations and two Screen Actors Guild Awards. Time has named him one of the 100 most influential people in the world in 2018.His films include License to Wed (2007), Leatherheads (2008), Away We Go (2009), It's Complicated (2009), Something Borrowed (2011), Big Miracle (2012), Promised Land (2012), Aloha (2015), The Hollars (2016), and 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi (2016). Krasinski was the director and actor in the drama brief interviews with the Hideous Men (2009) and the comedy-drama film The Hollars (2016). In the year 2018, Krasinski co-wrote and directed and also starred in the critically acclaimed horror film A Quiet Place. He was cast as the character as Jack Ryan in the Amazon thriller series Jack Ryan. As a result of his character being nominated, he won the Screen Actors Guild Awards as Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Drama Series. In 2013, he launched Sunday Night Productions, a production company. Krasinski has two children with Emily Blunt (an actress from England).
