Jared Goff

 Goff, then a junior, played his way to leading the Bears to 7-5 in the regular season. It was Cal's first win since 2011. Mel Kiper Jr. and Todd McShay had projected Goff as the most effective quarterback for the 2016 NFL Draft. Goff won the game by a score of 54-24 over Oregon State on November 14 in 2015. Goff also earned Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Week honors. Goff established a Cal single-game record of 542 passing yards and defeated Arizona State 48-46. He was awarded Player of the Week for the second time. In the 2015 Armed Forces Bowl, Goff passed for six touchdowns and 467 yards to lead the Bears to a win of 55-36 over Air Force.In 2015, Goff set a new Pac-12 single-season passing-yardage record (4,714), and also established a new record in the conference for touchdown passes in a season He earned first-team All-Pac-12 honors. Goff was the first Cal quarterback to ever be awarded first-team All-Pac-12 distinction following Rodgers in 2004. Goff was a part of the team to an 8-5 Cal team that won a bowl game and a winning record for the first time since 2011 and also to win their first ever postseason game.
