Jac Jagaciak

Jagaciak began her modeling career in 2007 when she was encouraged to participate in an open casting held by GAGA Models Agency in a shopping mall in Poland. IMG signed her and she was featured on French Jalouse's cover on July 7, 2007. Her breakthrough occurred at the age of 13, when Jagaciak was able to secure a Hermes campaign for the fall/winter 2007 season with Daria Werbowy, beating out 600 other candidates as a child in primary school. Jagaciak claimed that she'd never heard of Hermes before the campaign, and neither did Peter Lindbergh who was the photographer. "I thought that the fact that I didn't know helped me remain relaxed," she stated. Even though her images riled some critics who were dissatisfied with the notion of sexualizing girls at such young ages. Then, Jagaciak began traveling overseas to pursue her career. In 2008 she traveled to Japan where she landed the front cover of Elle. She appeared on French Jalouse's cover for a second time in the month of May. In October 2008 Jagaciak was featured on the covers of Japanese Harper's Bazaar and Japanese Spur. Jagaciak was set to cover Australian Vogue, but the editor decided she wasn't old enough and had to change her schedule.
