Dwayne Johnson

 Dwayne Douglas Johnson (born May 2 1972) is also known as his ring name The Rock, is an American actor and former professional wrestler. Widely regarded as one of the greatest professional wrestlers of all time, he was integral to the development and the success of the World Wrestling Federation (WWF, now WWE) in the Attitude Era, an industry boom during the latter half of the 1990s and early 2000s. Johnson was a wrestler with the WWF for eight years before pursuing an acting career. Johnson was an actor before he became an international star in Hollywood. His films have grossed over $3.5 billion in North America, and $10.5 billion across the globe. He was an outstanding athlete in the football team at Freedom High School, Bethlehem Township, Pennsylvania, in the Lehigh Valley. His football capabilities at Freedom High School led him to be listed as one of the top 10 defensive tackle high school prospects in the nation and attracted the attention of numerous NCAA Division I college football programs.Johnson accepted an athletic scholarship in order to attend the University of Miami, one of the top universities in the country. football programs. He was a freshman at the college and was a part of Miami's 1991 National Champion team. He was a part of the team for most of his time at the University of Miami as a backup player to elite players like Warren Sapp, future NFL star and Pro Football Hall of Fame Inductee. Johnson had hoped to play professional football but was not drafted into the 1995 NFL Draft. Following his graduation of the University of Miami that year Johnson signed with the Calgary Stampeders of the Canadian Football League but was cut from the team after his first season
