Courtney Thorne-Smith

 She appeared on a variety of television shows during the late 1980s, including Growing Pains, Fast Times and Infidelity. She also appeared in made-for-television movies such as The Thanksgiving Promise, Infidelity and Day by Day in which she co-starred alongside Linda Kelsey, Douglas Sheehan and Julia Louis-Dreyfus. In the year 1990, she was part of six episodes on L.A. Law as Laker Girl Kimberly Dugan.Her first notable starring TV part was Alison Parker on Melrose Place from 1992 to 1997. In 1995, she was the star of Beauty's Revenge, a movie made for TV. The film was released on CD and DVD as "Midwest Obsession." Between 1997 and 2000, she played Georgia Thomas on Ally McBeal. Thorne Smith auditioned initially for the title role in the show. The role was then given to Calista Lockhart. Her character was written out of Ally McBeal at the beginning of season four in 2000 although she made brief guest appearances later on. Later, she said that she quit the show in part due to pressure to be thin. US Weekly reported that she had started to overeat and exercise excessively and had weakened her immune system. "The amount of time spent thinking about food and getting angry over my body was crazy. "From 2001 until 2009, she was a character on the show Cheryl on the show According to Jim. In 2007, her pregnancy was kept from the show at first, but was then included in the storyline. She signed up to play Alan Harper's love interest Lyndsey McElroy in season seven, Two and a Half Men, on February 18 the 18th of February, the 18th of February, 2010. She appeared in 52 episodes of season seven through twelve.
