Barry Hall

 Barry Hall (born 8 February 1977) is a former professional Australian rules footballer who played for the St Kilda Football Club, Sydney Swans and Western Bulldogs in the Australian Football League (AFL). He is thought to be one of the best forwards of the modern era and was named All-Australian and leading his club's goal-kicking on 11 occasions and also captaining the Sydney Swans in their 2005 AFL Grand Final win. Hall was a legend in July of 2011 when he became the first player ever to score 100 goals for three AFL clubs. He began his career with St Kilda Football Club, where he was twice the goalkicking leader of the club in the years 2001 and 1999. Hall is most famous for his stint with the Sydney Swans. He was among the Swans greatest players during his time at the club, topping the team's goal-kicking record from 2002 until 2008 and co-captaining the side from 2005 to 2007 and winning the club's drought breaking premiership in 2005. He also played a significant role in the AFL's promotion in Sydney, gaining a similarly high-profile to Tony Lockett which saw him featured in a 2006 AFL and Swans joint campaign dubbed "Barry Hall Hall The former junior boxing champion's AFL career has been marred by a reputation for in-field aggression that has earned him the label of football "wild man" and he was one of the top feared players on the field.
