Ariana Grande

She continued to experiment with pop and R&B in her second and third album, My Everything (2014) and Dangerous Woman (2016). My Everything tried EDM, and it was a huge hit with the singles "Problem", Break Free and "Bang Bang". Dangerous Woman became her first number-one album in the UK. Personal issues influenced her trap-infused fourth and fifth studio albums, Sweetener (2018) and Thank U, Next (2019), both of which were commercial and critical successes. Sweetener received the Grammy Award as Best Pop Vocal Album. Thank U Next set the record for the largest streaming week for an album of pop music. It also was nominated to be the Album of the Year. Grande became the first solo artist to achieve the top three spots of the Hot 100 and become the first woman to achieve the number one position in the UK Singles Chart with the singles "Thank U. Next", "7 Rings" and "Break up with Your Girlfriend. Grande beat the Hot 100 record for the most debuts at number one with Justin Bieber's collaboration for 2020 "Stuck with U" with Lady Gaga, while "Rain on Me” with Lady Gaga won the Grammy Award for the best Pop Duo/Group Performance. Grande's sixth studio album, Positions 2020 (R&B-focused) came out at number one in both the UK and US. The title track also became a huge success. In 2021, she recorded her sixth US number-one single after featuring on the remix of The Weeknd's "Save Your Tears".
