 Angelina Jolie DCMG (/dZoU’li born Angelina Jolie Voight on June 4, 1975) was an American actress, filmmaker and humanitarian. She has been the recipient of numerous awards such as the Academy Award and three Golden Globe Awards and has been named Hollywood's highest-paid actress multiple times.Jolie made her debut on screen as a young girl with her father, Jon Voight, in Lookin' to Get Out (1982) as well as her film career started in earnest a decade later with the low-budget feature Cyborg 2 (1993), which was followed by her debut lead part in a major movie, Hackers (1995). She was the main character in the biographical cable film George Wallace (1997) and Gia (1998). In 1999, she was awarded the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress. Her part as the title video game heroine in Lara Croft: Tomb Raider (2001) established her as a leading Hollywood actress. Her action-star career was further developed with Mr. & Mrs. Smith (2005) and Wanted (2008). Salt (2010) and The Tourist (2010).
