Flavor Flav

 Flav teamed up together with Nick Cimino in 2011 to start Flav's Fried Chicken. Cimino’s hometown of Clinton (Iowa). They came across each other through Peter Cimino, Cimino's brother who owns Mama Cimino's in Las Vegas and Castle Rock Bar and Pizzeria in Kingman, Arizona. After enjoying the rapper's homemade chicken fried, Peter Cimino began selling chicken wings using Flav's recipe. Flavor Flav's Chicken was founded with the goal of opening a franchise across the country. However, squabbling owners, bounced checks, along with poor business choices resulted in Flavor Flav's Chicken closing down just four months after it opened. Flavor Flav was not involved in the restaurant's day-to-day operations; Nick Cimino simply paid for Flavor Flav's license. Flavor Flav's House of Flavor in Las Vegas was opened during the rapper's birthday celebrations in March 2012.Flavor Flav teamed up with Gino Harmon and Salvatore Bitonti to start a national franchise called Flavor Flav's Chicken and Ribs that opened on the 21st of December 2012 in Sterling Heights, Michigan. This business is not associated with previous ventures of Flavor Flav in the industry of restaurants. Flavor Flav's Chicken & Ribs offered casual dining with a speedy service. Flavor Flav's Chicken & Ribs was closed by its landlord in July 2013, due to its inability to pay rent.
