Alison Sweeney

 Sweeney made her television debut at age five in an early Kodak commercial. In the following year, she was in the episode "I I Can't Help Saying Goodbye" of the horror series Tales from the Darkside, playing a young girl who could sense when others were going to die shortly before their deaths. She was on ABC's short-lived sitcom Family Man in 1988. In the following year, she was named Christy McCray in Brand New Life. This miniseries, created by Chris Carter, aired on the NBC network's Magical World of Disney October 1989. The miniseries, which co-starred Barbara Eden as Sweeney's mother and Don Murray as her new stepfather, was thought to be a the possibility of a standalone series in addition to the initial Disney pilot however the series never materialized.On January 6, 1993, then 16-year-old Sweeney first appeared on the role of Samantha "Sami" Brady in the NBC soap opera Days of Our Lives--a show that she was an avid fan.In the 1990s, cultural society continued to have extremely controversial views about weight. Sweeney was an US size 12 dress (UK size 16 dress) and was not overweight by medical standards, but larger than her fellow TV stars, so it became an issue. She narrated all the media coverage and personal agony in her 2004 memoir, All The Days of My Life (So Far
