Dove Olivia Cameron, born Chloe Celeste Hosterman on January 15th in 1996) is an American actor and singer. Her role as both the characters named for her on the Disney Channel comedy series Liv and Maddie earned her the Daytime Emmy Award in Outstanding Performer in Children's Programing. Cameron continued her work at Disney Channel, and she was the character Mal in Descendants (2015-2021). Cameron starred on the NBC live-television show Hairspray Live! in 2016. In the stage, from 2018 to 2019, she played the character of Cher Horowitz in an off Broadway production of the 1995 film Clueless and, in the year 2019 she made her debut on the London stage as the character of Clara Johnson in the musical The Light in the Piazza. Cameron also starred in Vengeance (2022) which is an action-comedy. In 2019, she made her stage debut on stage in London as Clara Johnson, who was the lead singer on the soundtrack album of Liv & Maddie (2015). The same year she released her debut single "If Only" that was featured in the soundtrack album of Descendants The album was a top seller on the US Billboard 200, and was certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) Additionally, she was a part of two soundtrack albums of Descendants : Descendants 2, Descendants 3 (2017-2019). In 2019, she released her debut musical album, Bloodshot / Waste. The singer dropped "Boyfriend" in 2022. The track was a commercial hit and reached the top 20 on the Billboard Hot 100. It was also certified platinum by RIAA.
