Raven-Symoné

 Raven-Symone Christina PEARMAN-Maday (/sI'moUn/)(nee Pearman; born December 10 October, 1985), also known mononymously as Raven is an American actor, singer and musician. She has received several accolades such as five NAACP Image Awards, two Kids Choice Awards as well as three Young Artist Awards, and three Daytime Emmy Award nominations. In 2012, she was featured in VH1's list of "100 most influential Child Stars of All Time".Raven-Symone began her career as a child actress and was a part of the cast in the roles of Olivia Kendall on The Cosby Show (1989-1992) as well as Nicole Lee on Hangin' with Mr. Cooper (1993-1997) and Hangin' with Mr. Cooper (1993-1997), both of which brought her a number of awards and nominations. She was just 15 when she was chosen to play Raven Baxter in the Disney Channel television show That's So Raven (1993-1992). For the role she was nominated and received many awards. Film credits she has included include Dr. Dolittle (1998) as well as its sequel Dr. Dolittle 2 (2001), The Princess Diaries 2 (2004), and College Road Trip (2008) All of which were box office successes. Zenon (1999) as well as its sequel Zenon Z3 (2004), The Cheetah Girls (2006), For One Night (2006) and Revenge of the Bridesmaids (2010) are among her credits on television. Raven-Symone has also lent her voice to the animated show Kim Possible for the character Monique and in films such as Tinker Bell (2008). Raven-Symone is back as Raven Baxter on Raven's Home (2017-present), for which she was nominated for the Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Performer in Children's Programming.In music, Raven-Symone released her first studio album at seven years old, Here's to New Dreams (1993), which saw the modest commercial success of the track "That's What Little Girls Are Made Of". The subsequent studio albums, Undeniable (1999), This Is My Time (2004), and Raven-Symone (2008) also saw commercial successes in the Billboard 200 chart in the United States. She also contributed vocals to various soundtracks of her Disney projects, including The Cheetah Girls (2003), That's So Raven (2004), That's So Raven Too! (2006) as well as The Cheetah Girls 2 (2006). A lot of these soundtracks were certified platinum or gold. She was also co-host on the ABC daytime talk show The View from the year 2015 until in 2016. She will host and executive produce the new reality series What Not to Design
