Margot Robbie

 Margot Elise Robertbie (/'ma?rgoU/; born on 2 July 1990) was an Australian actress as well as producer and director. Her fame is based on her roles in blockbuster films as well as independent films. Robbie has been nominated five times for British Academy Film Awards, three Golden Globe Awards and two Academy Awards. Time magazine named her one of the 100 most influential people in the world in 2017, and she was named one of the highest-paid actors by Forbes in 2019.Born and raised in Queensland, Robbie began her career in 2008 with the TV show Neighbours in which she was a regular until 2011. After making the move to America and starring in the television series Pan Am (2011-2012), and made her debut in 2013 when she appeared in the dark comedy film The Wolf of Wall Street. The roles she played as Jane Porter and Harley Quinn in DC's superhero films Suicide Squad (2016), Birds of Prey (2021), as well as The Suicide Squad (2021) brought her more attention. She was also nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actress for her character of Tonya Harding, a disgraced figure skater in the biopic I, Tonya (2017). She was married to Tom Ackerley, a filmmaker. They formed LuckyChap Entertainment, which produced various films that included I, Tonya (2019-2022) Promising Young Men (2020) and the miniseries Maid (2019-2022).
