Ben Stiller

 Benjamin Edward Meara Stiller, born November 30 1965 is an American actor, comedian and filmmaker. He is the son of actor and comedian Jerry Stiller and Anne Meara. [1] Stiller was a part of the Frat Pack, a group of actors who were comedians. The films he has produced have earned over $2.6 Billion across Canada and the United States with an average of $79 M per film. He has received many awards and accolades throughout his career. He won a Primetime Emmy Award in 1992 for Outstanding Writing for Variety Program. The series ran on MTV between 1990 between 1990 and 1992. He then appeared on shows such as Friends, Curb Your Enthusiasm and Arrested Development.Having earlier appeared on television, he began to act in movies. Reality Bites was his first directorial venture. He continued to direct films and was often included in the films. During this time he also played in a series of studio comedies that were successful, including The Story of Mary (1998), Along Came Polly (2004), Dodgeball The True Underdog Story (2004), Starsky & Hutch (2004) as well as Tower Heist (2011). Stiller is also widely known for his multiple franchise films such as the Meet the Parents films (2000-2010), the Madagascar franchise (2005-2012) as well as the Night at the Museum trilogy (2006-2014).He is most well-known for his performances in independent films like David O. Russell's Flirting with Disaster (1996) and Wes Anderson's The Royal Tenenbaums (2001), Noah Baumbach's' Greenberg (2010), When We're Young (2014), and The Meyerowitz Stories (2017). He also directed Escape at Dannemora, a Showtime series. It led to him receiving an Directors Guild of America Award as well as two Primetime Emmy Award nominations. In 2022 he served as an executive producer and director for Severance, the Apple TV+ series Severance receiving two Primetime Emmy Award nominations for Outstanding Drama Series and Outstanding Directing in the Drama Series.
