Jessica Paré

 Pare got a small part in the TV film Bonanno: A Godfather's Story during her final year in high school, which convinced her to pursue acting as a profession. Also, she had small roles in an episode of the horror television series Big Wolf on Campus and the French film En Vacances (1999). She was kicked out of the Montreal's fine arts school Dawson College and pursued acting for two years. Pare was a photographer's assistant for automotive photography. When Pare had an audition, Denys Arcand selected her to star as Pare in Stardom (2000). [3] She played a naive ice hockey player propelled to fame and international recognition as a supermodel. The comedy satire concluded the 2000 Cannes Film Festival with mixed reviews from critics. [12] Pare was deemed the Canadian film industry's "it girl" when the film was released. Pare was named among the 25 Most Beautiful People in 2012 by People 14 in 2013, one of very few Canadian citizens to receive this honor. Pare's next film was Lost and Delirious (2001), which tells the story of two lovers in love who are forced to live in a girls' boarding house. The film premiered at the Sundance Film Festival, it received mixed reviews. The performances of Pare as well as her co-stars Mischa Barton and Piper Perabo were, however, widely applauded. 15 years ago, Pare was in the television mini-series Random Passage (2002), which was based on a book series of novels that won awards by Bernice Morgan. She also was Napoleon's mistress in the miniseries on television Random Passage (2002). Additionally, that year she made a brief appearance as a pop singer in Deepa Mehta's Bollywood/Hollywood (2002/02). The next year, she was in the girl-gang thriller film Posers (2003) which followed which she was in the CTV film The Death and Life of Nancy Eaton as the title character of murdered heiress Nancy Eaton.Pare made her Hollywood debut in the film Wicker Park (2004). In 2004, she was a part of the TV mini-series Lives of the Saints, as well as the mockumentary See This Movie (2004) as well as a character in The WB teen drama series Jack & Bobby, about two brothers. One is later on to become the president of the United States; Pare's character is later on to become the first lady of the United States.
