Nicole Evangeline Lilly, a Canadian writer and actress, was born on the 3rd of August 1979. She has been awarded various accolades including the Screen Actors Guild Award and an MTV Movie Award. She has also received nominations for the Golden Globe Award, a Critics Choice Movie Award an Screen Actors Guild Award, a Saturn Award, an Empire Award and 10 Teen Choice Awards. She gained popular acclaim for her first leading role as Kate Austen in the ABC series Lost (2004-2010), which garnered her the nomination for the Golden Globe Award for Best actress in a Drama Series and earned her the Screen Actors Guild Award. Lilly was a part of The Hurt Locker (2008), which won an Academy Award. The film was followed by a role in Real Steel (2011). Lilly is also the writer of the children's series, The Squickerwonkers (2013-present)Lilly starred in the role of Tauriel in Peter Jackson's The Hobbit film series, appearing in The Desolation of Smaug (2013) and The Battle of the Five Armies (2014). In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, she has been playing Wasp, the Wasp superhero since Ant-Man (2015). She then appeared in Avengers: Endgame (2018) and Ant-Man: Wasp: Quantumania (2019).
