David Beckham

 David Robert Joseph Beckham OBE (UK /'bek@mBeckham) was born on the 2nd of May, 1975. Beckham is currently the president and coowner of Inter Miami CF as well as co-owner of Salford City. [7] Known for his range of passing crossing, bending and twisting free-kicks as a right-winger, Beckham has been hailed as one of the greatest and most well-known midfielders of his time, as well as one of the greatest set-piece specialists of all time. [8][9] He is the first English player to be awarded the league title in four different countries: England, Spain, the United States and France. Beckham's professional club career began at Manchester United, where he made his first team debut in 1992 , aged 17. He was the winner of six Premier League titles with United as well as twice the FA Cup, and the UEFA Champions League 1999. He played four seasons for Real Madrid [10] and won the La Liga championship his last season. In July 2007, Beckham signed a five-year contract with Major League Soccer club LA Galaxy. 13) While as a Galaxy player, he spent two loan spells in Italy with AC Milan in 2009 and 2010. Beckham was the first British footballer to take part in 100 UEFA Champions League games. He retired in May 2013 after twenty years of playing, in which he collected 19 major trophies.In the international game, Beckham made his England debut on 1 September 1996, aged 21. Beckham served as captain for six seasons, winning an impressive 58 caps during this time. He played an impressive 115 appearances in his career. He played in three FIFA World Cup tournaments (2002, 2006) and two UEFA European Championship tournaments (2000 and 2004). He held the England record for appearances by an outfield player until 2016.
