Chris Tucker

 Tucker began performing stand-up comedy in front of audiences at local Atlanta comedy clubs. He then determined to relocate to Los Angeles to pursue his stand-up comedy career. Tucker was a guest in Def Comedy Jam in 1992. He also was a regular performer on that show. In 1994, Tucker made his film debut in House Party 3 and received more recognition for his film with Ice Cube in Friday. Tucker was in The Fifth Element and Money Talks in 1997. He also played a supporting part in Quentin Tarantino's Jackie Brown and had a prominent role in the spy comedy Double-O-Soul which the film was never released.Along with Hong Kong martial artist Jackie Chan, Tucker starred as LAPD detective James Carter in the martial arts action comedy film series Rush Hour. He was paid 25 million dollars for Rush Hour 3, and an additional $20 million after the popularity of Rush Hour 1. He was also to receive 20% of the gross from Rush Hour 3. Rush Hour 3 was to make 20% of the revenue. Tucker did not reprise the role of Smokey In Next Friday 2000 or Friday After Next 2002. He later stated that he didn't intend to encourage people to smoke marijuana.
