Sofía Vergara

 Sofia Margarita Vergara Vergara (born on July 10, 1972 in Colombia) is an American actress and model. From 2013 to 2020 she was the highest paid actress in American television. Vergara gained prominence hosting two shows on Univision's Spanish-language television network in the mid-90s. Chasing Papi (2003) was her first significant acting role in English. She subsequently appeared in Four Brothers (2005) and Tyler Perry's comedies Meet the Browns (2008) and Madea Goes to Jail (2009) which earned her an ALMA Award nomination for the last. She began her career as Gloria Delgado-Pritchett on ABC's comedy series Modern Family in 2009. In this role, she won four Golden Globe Awards and four Primetime Emmy Awards. Her voice-over roles included Happy Feet Two (2011) and Escape from Planet Earth (2013). Vergara was also the highest-paid Hollywood actress in the year 2020. Vergara has been an America's Got Talent judge since 2020.
