Shad Gregory Moss, born on March 9, 1987, is an American actor and rapper. His career started when he was noticed by rapper Snoop Dogg in the late 1990s, eventually being brought to record producer Jermaine Dupri and signed by So So Def Recordings. He was 13 years old when he released his debut album, Beware of Dog, his first album. In 2000, Bow Wow was signed to So So Def Recordings. Wanted was his follow-up album, was released in 2005. It featured two most popular singles, Let Me Hold You (featuring Omarion), and "Like You (featuring Ciara). In September 2015, Bow Wow signed a management agreement with Puff Daddy's Bad Boy Records.Bow Wow made his debut movie appearance in the 2002 film All About the Benjamins as in a cameo. In the same year, Bow Wow made his debut as the lead actor in Like Mike. Then, he began to assume leading roles in movies like Johnson Family Vacation (2004) and Roll Bounce (2006). He also played a supporting part in the movie The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift in 2006 as well as a role he reprised in F9 (2021). Bow Wow also appeared in five episodes on the TV show Entourage as well as acted as Brody Nelson in CSI: Cyber until the show's cancellation in 2016.
